Sliotar Holder & Dispenser for the Wall

More than one hurler in the house means sliotars in the hall, the boot of the car and every gear bag, and never the one you need before training. Put them all in one tube on the wall by the door: drop them in at the top, take one out at the bottom on the way out.

For a house full of hurlers

Every sliotar has a home

Two or three players in the house and the sliotars end up everywhere: rolling around the hall, in the boot, in the wrong gear bag. Ten minutes before training, nobody can find one.

The dispenser gives them one place on the wall by the door. Balls go in at the top when everyone comes home, and each player takes one from the bottom on the way out. The front window shows how many are in, so you can see when one has gone missing.

How it works

In at the top, out at the bottom

One sliotar at a time

The bottom ball sits in the open mouth of the base. Take it and the next one drops into its place, so there is no rooting through a bag at the door.

Grows in modules

Each module holds 3 sliotars and locks onto the one below with a push and a quarter twist. Start with 4 and add a module when the collection grows.

Slides onto the wall

Every part has a small wall bracket that it slides down onto, two screws each. The tube sits close to the wall, out of the way in a hall, a shed or a garage.

Questions about the sliotar dispenser

How does it work?

Drop sliotars in at the top and they stack down the tube. The bottom one sits in the open mouth of the base: take it out and the next one drops into its place. The front window shows how many are left.

Does it fit a size 5 sliotar?

Yes, it is drawn for one. The GAA specification puts a size 5 sliotar at 69 to 72 mm across, with a raised rib up to 2.6 mm high, so at most 77.2 mm at its widest. The tube is 87 mm inside.

We have a few hurlers at home. Which size do we need?

Go by the number of sliotars, not players: 4, 7 or 10. Pick the size that takes all of yours. If the collection grows, add a module later and it holds 3 more.

What does modular mean here?

Every size is the same base with 3-ball modules on top. The modules lock together with a push and a quarter twist, so you can start with 4 sliotars and add a module later to hold 7 or 10.

How is it fixed to the wall?

Each module and the base slide down onto a small wall bracket, fixed with two screws. Screws and wall plugs for masonry are in the box. Lift the dispenser up off its brackets to take it down.

Can I have it in my county colours?

Yes. Pick a main colour for the tube and a second one for the bands, the top cap and the brackets. Order the same pair as your hurley holder and they match on the wall.

Is it only for sliotars?

It is sized for size 5 sliotars. A pickleball is about the same size, 74 mm across, and fits the same tube.

How is it delivered?

By An Post, packed as separate modules that you twist together at home. Delivery to Ireland and Northern Ireland is included in the price. We also post to every EU country, with the postage shown before you pay. We do not post to Great Britain yet.
